I'm not super familiar with celld, but my understanding is that its not a full posix filesystem. We work with lots of dynamically created and queried duckdb and netcdf files. My impression of celld is its meant for more lightweight storage and that objects live in SQLite files.

I could be totally mistaken but that's my current understanding.
