Our politicians have dominated their ecological niche and are wholly dependent on nutrients in the form of campaign funding, which mostly comes from corporations. Those who were unwilling or unable to consume that flavor have died out from lack of sustenance. You want them to chop down the tree that produces the fruit that keeps them alive? Good luck with that.
