Huh, I thought I was paid on the lower end for my field. Well, I suppose I still am (working for a NGO), but £30-35k is absurd. That's not reasonable for any skilled role, really. Why do people accept it? Are salaries for software in the UK generally very low? Even lower than Canada? I find it hard to believe, but then, I have no data to go off of.
