Out of curiosity, what if someone says “I have dyslexia” into their dictation app in the next desk over?

Is my brain now subject to GDPR regulations?

Not an attack on you, but my word am I thankful I don’t participate in the European regulatory regime.

So you don't think if employers collect private data about employees there should be limits on what they can do with that?

not an attack on you, but I am thankful to have guardrails for greedy scrupulous corporations

Unless you are a robot, you'll be fine. GDPR is about digitally recorded information. If you are a robot, it's probably best to delete that information.

GDPR doesn't cover unrecorded human memory, so you're fine to overhear whatever in a day-to-day setting. If you then do anything that looks like digital processing or cataloguing that information though, then you're making it a GDPR issue.
